This is a tree hotel that is located in Sweden. The Mirrorcube is accessed by a rope bridge; accommodates two people and has a roof terrace; a living room, a bath, a small kitchenette, and a large bed; the interior has a 360 degree vies and is made from plywood; its exterior represents a camouflaged refuge; the mirror box is 4m X 4m X4m; it is built around a tree trunk, and; it’s made from light weight aluminum.

Can’t afford one of those fancy, expensive SLR cameras? Then why not make one out of cardboard? American artist Kiel Johnson did just that, and his final creations look amazing. Johnson used his background as a painter and sculptor to take simple cardboard pieces and turn them into something extraordinary.

He not only made SLR cardboard cameras but Polaroids as well. The only thing not made out of cardboard is the “belt” that is supposed to go around a cardboard person’s neck so that the camera doesn’t fall.

Kiel Johnson has used cardboard for other projects as well, like this 8 bit pixelated costume that tickled the toes of many an observer. So, question for you.  Would you buy these to decorate your home or office? Would you give them as a gift? Is this the kind of art that you would spend money on, and if so, how much? Or do you regard this art as the kind of novelty that, while interesting, can’t be plopped into the same category as high-brow art that would win awards at festivals or titillate audiences at museums?

Everybody dreams about flying through the air like their favourite action hero at some point in their life...and now it's possible with the new Jetlev-Flyer - a futuristic jet pack.

Canadian engineer Raymond Li designed the water-powered machine so that it can hover up to 30 metres in the air and reach speeds of up to 22mph as you make your way across the water.

And now fans of Superman or even James Bond can get their hands on this high-tech device for just £110,000.

The device was being tested out on the beaches of Miami, Florida, and onlookers were able to watch the pilot as he propelled into the air and flew across the water.

The Jetlev-Flyer has a 10 metre hose and an engine which doubles as a flotation device. The hose is essential because water is sucked up and spat out through two nozzles which are mounted on the users back.

It took more than 10 years to perfect the design and if you don't fancy splashing out all that cash to buy one, there is a chance it might be coming to a holiday resort near you. 

So you could soon be fulfilling those childhood dreams of flying across the water like Superman or doing stunts in your very own James Bond movie.

Off he goes: The flights controls are designed so it is easy enough for anybody to use

French artist Guillaume Reymond has had a lot of success with his former projects.  For instance,  the video performance “GAME OVER”  had over 12 million viewers around the world, and the video film “Human Tetris” saw great success.  He won the 2007 You Tube Video Award for that film. Now he is involved with a new project called TRANSFORMERS, where he parks several cars, buses or trucks in a special pattern so it looks like the enormous Transformers robots (like the movie, the toys, the cartoon, etc.)  when viewed from above.  On one of the “robots” he even used people in different colored shirts to create the shape.

The huge art installations don’t look as CGI-shiny as they do in the movie Transformers, but they are quite a sight to see, especially if you have the chance to view it from the air.

More than meets the eye, or exactly, spot-on, totally what meets the eye?  Me thinks it’s the latter.  It’s a bunch of buses, all put together to look like a robot.  Hurrah!

Not everybody has their own helicopter, so we’re glad we could provide these aerial shots for you. Some of us have the ability to transform into helicopters though.
